East Central Minnesota

East Central Minnesota (ECMN) lies between two major urban centers, the Twin Cities and Duluth-Superior, while remaining largely rural. Across the region, LGBTQ+ people have built community, visibility and connection. East Central Minnesota Pride brings people together from throughout this five-county area and beyond.

Our region includes communities from across five counties:

Chisago County: Center City, Chisago City, Harris, Lindström, North Branch, Rush City, Shafer, Stacy, Taylors Falls, and Wyoming.

Isanti County: Braham, Cambridge, and Isanti.

Kanabec County: Grasston, Mora, Ogilvie, and Quamba.

Mille Lacs County: Bock, Forreston, Isle, Milaca, Onamia, Pease, Princeton, and Wahkon.

Pine County: Askov, Brook Park, Bruno, Denham, Finlayson, Henriette, Hinckley, Kerrick, Pine City, Rock Creek, Rutledge, Sandstone, Sturgeon Lake, and Willow River.

East Central Minnesota Pride welcomes everyone, whether you call one of these communities home, come from neighboring northwestern Wisconsin communities such as Danbury, Frederic, Grantsburg, Luck, Siren, or Webster, or travel from farther away. Wherever you come from, you are welcome here.
